It's called Pine Walk and it probably was just that in Victorian times. These days it's mostly a mix of beech and other deciduous trees. Depending on the time of year, the ground cover is snowdrops, bluebells, wild garlic or cow parsley. It's part of my regular 'round the top of the hill' route with Maisie, the studio cocker spaniel.
