Happy Friday! Here are some facts about me. 1. I am 5'2 tall. My husband is 6'2 and puts everything away on the highest shelves - WHY. 2 Speaking of husbands, I've been with mine since I was 16. 3. I hate driving. I do it, but I hate it. 4. My entire life I've liked all things weird/creepy/different. The Addams Family, Tim Burton, all black clothing, piercings and tattoos and horror movies and Halloween. This is my jam. I guess I balance it out by being ridiculously girly. I love pink and glitter and dressing up and super long hair and all of the makeup. I guess contrast is also my jam. 5. Alcohol - I hate the taste and drink maybe twice a year. 6. I've only had one surgery ever - on my right ear. There was a bone eroding into my skull and it needed to be fixed so I wouldn't get a brain infection. Shout out to people who become doctors for keeping us alive and such. • 7. I'm going to be at a night market tomorrow! Summer is in full swing! Can anyone else relate? Our kids aren't in school yet, but between guests, BBQs and for us in Calgary - STAMPEDE - it's a busy time of year! Maybe it's just us Canadians that want to enjoy every single moment of the nice weather... We've been busy! I haven't been in my studio at all this week. Last night I snuck down and soldered my bees to their hives. They're pretty cute! Our teacher from last year ordered this for her new classroom this year - I love love love this reminder and feel like it should be in most rooms (classrooms, boardrooms, locker rooms, etc) ❤️ Thank you to all of you teachers who work hard to not only teach our kids curriculum, but come along side parents in teaching them to be good and kind people. #teachersaresuperheroes
