"When my daughter, Lucy, needed her first pair of hearing aids, I felt totally bewildered. Maybe you’re like me and just went with the audiologist’s recommendation. Or maybe you’re like others who ask other parents for recommendations and stories. But did you actually get to listen to the options? I didn’t. Not until recently. And it made a world of difference." "The sweetness and tenderness of this moment takes my breath away. The best part is these moments happen every single day. When a hearing aid flips off her ear or pops out, both of my boys are so eager, willing and happy to help her. It’s simple. But it’s such a beautiful moment to me........................... I’m reading a #memoir by @jenpastiloff called #onbeinghuman. She speaks many truths, but her challenge to hunt for beauty might be my favorite. #beautyhunting #hearinglossadvocate #lifeison #hearinglosswontstopme #phonakkids #phonakhearingaids"

"I personally love having white hearing aids due to their versatility to match with all of the clothes in my closet. All the while the white remains vibrant so that they pop out and always add a little something to my outfits especially if my hair is pulled up. ✨
How do you use hearing aids or cochlea implants to add to your style?" Thanks for sharing @maddyisdeaf!
"Maybe Sayge won’t want to play soccer one day. Maybe it will be dance or hockey or coding. All I know as her momma is nothing is going to hold her back. She can do whatever she wants. Back up a few years ago and I wasn’t always sure. When my kids with hearing loss were born I worried they wouldn’t be able to participate in activities like sports. But I now do NOT fear that thanks to her #phonakhearingaids #lifeison #hearinglosswontstopme #phonakkids #phonakhearingaids #hearinglossadvocate #changetheworld #deafkidsrock #saygetherese"
