This caption has got nothing to do with the photo but I want to take this opportunity to share with you briefly my entrepreneurship journey.
Back in our polytechnic days not long ago, @roshxz_ and I started @themeetupsg which I'm sure most of you guys know. But what you do not know is how tough it was. It was tough for me because my parents were not supportive. Some of our closest friends were not supportive. When I say not supportive, I mean we really heard discouraging comments that hurt us and to a certain extent, made us doubtful. Time management was also a real shit. We were both young and nobody truly believed in us.
It was not too long ago when people started opening their eyes and appreciating our work. It was not too long ago when my parents are becoming more supportive but they are honestly still 100% not there. But it's fine, it's still progress! It was not too long ago when we started to get recognition and even get invited to speak about our business.
Things definitely took time for us but one thing I am most grateful about is the people I've met and now they are my closest friends. They say being an entrepreneur is a lonely journey, and it is true. I am blessed enough to have one person who stuck with me from the very beginning. That is why I truly believe in our Youth Networking Event happening this Saturday. I strongly feel that this society we have is narrow-minded. This society tells youth "GRADES ARE THE ONLY WAY. IF YOU'RE SHIT IN YOUR STUDIES, 80% CHANCE YOU'LL FAIL". Is education important? Yes, I still believe it is! But educating yourself does not only mean books and getting As. It also means getting yourself out there and gaining experience. It also means doing what you love and learning how to improve it! Heck, it can also mean your own self-improvement.
It'll really mean a lot to us if you share this post or @themeetupsg's post. Even if you're not interested, do share still as you will never know which friend of yours is itching to start something but is afraid. Or maybe your followers or family. It can be anyone, honestly. We, @themeetupsg , want to create a community and empower youths. Life is short, start doing what you love.

Marina View • The whole Gardens By The Bay area in Singapore is amazing! Even if you’re just visiting for a layover, I would suggest spending the afternoon walking around this place and then the evening over at Marina Bay esplanade.

Throwback to an awsome night shooting Singapore's insane architecture with @aroundtheworldwithalex and @maikestraveldiary.
Architecture is one of my favourite things to take photos of. Espacially if it's this impressive♀️. Even though i only brought my 16mm sigma to SG I managed to get away with a few good shots. For photographing architecture I actually prefer wide angle zoomlenses, because they give you more flexibility and you'll find yourself shooting at f8 to f11 anyway.
Settings:
16mm | f:11 | 30sec. | ISO 100
