Gratitude helps to build a state of harmonic resonance within which is in line with the Universe, and holding that state of deep harmonic resonance will help to amplify your state of consciousness in this physical reality.
Gratitude is one of the most direct paths to building and amplifying this resonant state of deep connection, bliss, and enlightenment...to bringing yourself in tune with the Universe.

Breath also inherently carries with it a deep connection to the Earth, deep slow intentional breathing into your Heart Center can bring you into greater energetic alignment with the energy of the Earth, as it is the Earth's atmosphere that you breathe in.
This energy has been called prana by some traditions. Greater alignment with prana allows your body to work with and flow with a greater amount of this pranic energy. Focusing this intentional breathing into your Heart Center calls the pranic energy to this energetic center of your body.
The heart is the generator of your electromagnetic field, so when you are focusing pranic flow into that energy center witch creates the energetic bubble around you, your toroidal field, you are going to have a greater pranic flow through the whole of your energy field, as well as through all of your chakras, your core, and your whole body.
You are always working with prana, our body needs this to survive, but when you learn how to work with greater amounts of this energy and maintain a higher flow state you will start to hold a higher vibrational resonance as a result.
(Note to self..) Take what you have in this moment, acknowledge all of the good, (and there is a lot of it) and be grateful for that. Radiate that gratitude outwards. Never mind the things that you feel you are missing or the things that you feel that you've lost. Everything is always changing. Change is the only constant. Realize that what you want today is what you will be able to be grateful for on another day, but only if you learn to recognize what you have in the moment. Don't allow yourself to endlessly move into wanting the next thing, ignoring the fact that some of what you have in this moment is some of what you were so desperately wanting for in past moments.
Enjoy what you have now! There is so much! Your life is so rich and so full! The things you are moving towards will come to you faster when you allow yourself to be functioning from a state of gratitude. Allowing yourself to be in a constant state of want will only only keep yourself in that state of want no matter what you have.
Gratitude. It is a choice.

We live in a time of great transition. Transitions aren't always easy. Sometimes it's hard to release that which we don't even know we are holding on to. These past couple of weeks have been especially difficult for many. Staying present and staying aware of what is coming up for you is the best course of action. By noticing memories that arise that we may struggle against, and by noticing that which triggers us into sadness or anger or another adverse reaction, that is how we start getting to the root of these unseen blocks lingering beneath the surface of our physical and energetic bodies.
