N E W Y E A R - new motivation ✨ • Weight loss isn’t just a one time thing, it’s not like changing your hair, or getting your nails done. It’s a lifestyle, a journey. I’ve had a fair few new followers over the last few days so hello to you all Given it’s a New Year, a new opportunity and I’m literally planning a new week as I type, I thought I’d take it back and refresh a little about me and my journey, a starting weight of 20 stone 6lb (size 26), a middle weight of 16 stone (size 18), to now, just yesterday in fact before my Birthday celebrations a weight of 10 stone 6lb (size 12). My journey is still on going, and I’m around 6/7lb away from my target. It’s taken me a total of 33 months to lose 10 stone and halve my body weight, (around 4/5 stone loss a year) but one thing this is not is a race nor a quick fad diet. I have followed the @slimmingworld plan throughout which has completely changed my relationship with food, I’ve learnt to fuel my body and not feed it & now I’m learning to food optimise even better choices when it comes to carbs, fat and proteins • I then joined the gym at the start of 2018, I’ve been extremely lucky with the support I’ve had there in regards to the fitness side of this journey, walking into a Gym is not easy but most definitely is worth it when you see just how significantly your body shape can change! If anybody new or existing is reading this either contemplating starting or getting back on plan, I hope this gives you the motivation and want that you need, this is by far the biggest achievement of my life and the best decision I ever made to change my life for the better.
