Hello fellow Devs! For this post, let's talk about the GridPane (javafx.scene.layout.GridPane). The nodes inside a grid pane are layouted in a grid with a flexible number of rows and columns. Let's illustrate this with an example: Our application should have to labels on the left side. On the right side of each there should be a button. We implement this with a 2x2 GridPane. To start this off, we create a new GridPane, set the alignment to centered and set a padding (lines 22-24). In the following two lines we set a horizontal and vertical spacing inside the GridPane. Then, we fill the GridPane with content. The two Labels are placed in the 0th column and the 0th and 1st row (27-28). On the right - in the 1st column - we place the two buttons (in the 0th and 1st row; lines 29-30). Finally, we show the GridPane in a new Scene on the primaryStage. You can see the result from 11 to 17 on the right. . . . Optional unwrapping is handled automatically for you as well! ✖️ Masonry: A light-weight layout framework which makes creating iOS AutoLayout NSLayoutConstraints in code quick, readable and descriptive. ✖️ ObjectMapper: ObjectMapper helps you convert a JSON response into your model object, and vice versa. In other words, it helps you map JSON to objects, and objects back to JSON. Nested objects are supported as well. ✖️ CocoaLumberjack: CocoaLumberjack is a simple but powerful logging framework for all your logging needs. If you want to do more than NSLog or print, CocoaLumberjack can help. You can do remote logging, log to a local file, write to multiple loggers, and create different log levels. ✖️ SnapKit: SnapKit is an Auto Layout library that simplifies writing auto layout in code with a minimal amount of code needed without losing readability.
