This has been on my mind for a while now, so I feel the need to share. -> I don’t consider people “fake” if they have a beautiful Instagram feed. . There. I said it. . So many post photos of themselves in lighting that may not be ideal, photos that aren’t perfectly curated, and say things like, “I’m not going to be fake on here and only post pretty pictures” and then hashtag #reallife #sorrynotsorry . And please, know that I’m not picking on you. It’s complete wonderful that you want to share your life in that way. But simply because I LOVE and ENJOY making my feed “pretty” doesn’t make me any less real. I consider my Instagram feed a form of art, and I enjoy making everything flow together. It brings my heart joy. . In my words and what I share along with the photos is my heart. I spill my ups and downs, my good and bad days. IG Stories are another way I connect with people in a very real way. . We all have the right to run our feeds how we see fit. I follow both curated and non-curated feeds, both for different reasons. As long as I connect to the person and their message, I hit the follow button. . I’ll be completely transparent though, I’m a VERY visual person and a beautiful feed catches my attention and inspires me, so I follow a lot of them! . I have no shame in my Instagram game, and I don’t want to shame others for how they do theirs.
