Today I practice forgiveness ♥️ . As I left the house for work yesterday my head was spinning. My inner voice was SCREAMING at me and I felt torn in so many different directions. #wizardofoz . Four weeks of nightshift is starting to take its toll. My body is exhausted, my brain is struggling to retain the constant stream of information coming my way, I haven’t been great at self care and I certainly haven’t taken 20 minutes each day to get my sweat on. . Then add exhausted coworkers who feel exactly the way I do … tensions are high and fuses are short. . So as I was packing myself up trying to leave the house today I straight up yelled STOP IT‼️ to myself . I stopped the internal voice that was telling me I “wasn’t enough”, “that I was fat and lazy” “that I was tried & exhausted” “that I’m making excuses & being dramatic” “that I’m not smart enough to keep all the information from hemorrhaging from my brain”. . I stopped the voice telling me all the ways I was failing. . I took a deep breath and forgave myself for being so ugly. I would never talk to another human the way I spoke to myself. . I am smart, I am capable, I am doing my absolute best in the current season of my life. My attitude hasn’t been perfect, my food choices haven’t always been the best for my body, I have missed a handful of workouts that I could have done, I’m not getting enough sleep, the list of things I’m not doing is pages. . But here is the list I am proud of: -I have prepped food each week -I have lost 6lbs in less than 4 weeks (finally pack under 170lb this morning ) -I have met my water goal everyday -I have met my movement goal everyday despite not having energy to workout -My clothes are clean -My teeth are brushed -I shower each day -Fairly on top of the dishes -I’ve been there for my coaches and clients on their journey to greatness .
