Oh my dear friends, I have failed you! I have been so focused on fighting the system, finding solutions, healing, empowerment etc. that I’ve forgotten to talk about self-improvement burnout!

Yes, constantly working on healing our relationship with ourselves, our bodies, our food, and others takes up a LOT of mental energy! So much so that our minds/bodies might shut the whole process off if it feels too overwhelmed with ideas and changes.

So, I’m taking this moment to tell you...that’s it’s ok to take a break from self-improvement, in fact, we need it! I know I’ve been feeling it lately, trying to create engaging content, up my info graphic game (yes, it’s a thing )and write on topics which you guys find helpful. I have been feeling the “best version of myself” burnout!

This weekend, I invite you to not work on yourself at all! Stop doing things because they are “good” for you or because they will help you along your healing journey. No agenda, no expectations...just BE in whatever moment you may be, fully. Take a break from self-improvement!

I’ll be logging off social media for the weekend...right after I post this, haha! My brain has been so wrapped up in numbers and professional growth that I’ve been missing out on so many things.
