It’s was my favorite male cousin’s introduction and we were all suppose to wear this head tie (gele) on white or silver fabric. Hmmm with this current heat in Lagos, I was so no ready for any prickly fabric or tying wrapper etc. I wanted something easy and comfortable. So I went for this white layered off the shoulder crinkle dress. Comfortable was the key word for me today and this dress was extremely comfortable. Just because it was a native affair did not mean I must wear native. Pairing this dress with the head tie and a bright colored shoe to make it pop seemed to be a good mix. Trust me, you can’t imagine the level of comfort I got wearing this simple but lovely dress. Think outside the box! How would you have rocked this dress?
