Familiarize yourself with #LeaveNoTrace principles and @bcadvsmart is a great resource to help you get informed before heading outdoors.

Do you know the Legend of Smuggler Cove? Used as a hiding place by smuggler pirate Larry Kelly in the 1800's. In the 20's it was used as a storage place for bootleg liquor coming out of the stills on Texada Island on their way down to the United States via the Rum Running boats. ⠀
⠀
Today, you can visit Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park year-round, featuring a beautiful waterfront hike with a boardwalk section suitable for all ages.⠀
