Literally no one has asked about my post-workout shake — and I make a point of telling my boyfriend what’s in it every single time I drink it just to bug him — so I’m happy to share the recipe unsolicited:
8 oz Fairlife chocolate milk
3 ice cubes cuz hydration
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 banana
1 tsp of peanut butter cuz yum
1 tbsp of quick oats
Blend and enjoy

Six lessons I learned this Memorial Day weekend:
1. 6 dogs on 2 campsites = a lot of sh*t getting knocked over
2. I can survive 4 days without a shower, but my skin will resort back to its middle school angsty stage
3. Always check under the seat of a vaulted toilet, there WILL be a spider
4. Walking a mile downhill while carrying a bike, a suitcase, a bag, a backpack, and a dog is NOT EVER a good idea, and will lead to horse poop getting all over the back of your legs when you fall
5. The grey cloud ahead is not a sweet ground level cloud, but rather a swarm of flying ants waiting to attack your face
6. Michigan is the most beautiful place in the world
Had an amazing (but very tiring!!) weekend with friends and family. Hope you all had an amazing Memorial Day weekend too ❤️ I think after all my travels I am finally realizing Michigan summers are more beautiful than anywhere on earth (except Hawaii of course). So blessed to live here and for the men and women who risk their lives to give me this freedom.
