What’s your favorite rivalry (sports, fictional, or otherwise)? I like the MLS Dallas-Houston rivalry mostly because of the cannon they use as a trophy. Whoever wins the series each year gets a working 18th-century cannon for the next year, and it’s kinda awesome when they fire it off before FC Dallas home games. What’s a series you haven’t finished, and why haven’t you finished it yet? I haven’t finished the Sylo Chronicles because I got kind of annoyed with Tucker. He didn’t go off the deep end or anything, but he did start acting rather childish. I made it through Sylo and Storm, and I really liked Sylo. But Storm was when Tucker started to annoy me, and I just haven’t bothered to pick up Strike. Where are you from? I was born and raised in the great state of Texas. Neither of my parents are from here, so I just barely have an accent. I didn't even realize I had one until I heard somebody speak with a really thick one, and it sort of dawned on me that I talk like that. . Anyway, I ask because without their covers the Sylo Chronicles look rather patriotic, which is kinda ironic. I would explain why, but then I'd give away the whole plot. These books are an intense read, and the only thing I didn't like about them was in the second book, the protagonist got a little whiny for my taste, but he redeemed himself.
