Grabbed a tiny pack of fillet out of the freezer but wish I would have gotten the big dogs right beside it. Ugh. Power to the Spud! . Made a quick mid afternoon snack. Three russet potatoes cut into thick fries. . Seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and cumin. . NO OIL! ‍♀️ When you cut the potatoes there’s enough starch to bind the seasonings to the fries . Place the fries on a non-stick silpat and bake in a 425° oven for 35 minutes. No need to even flip them. Voila’! . Serve with ketchup or spicy BBQ sauce like I’ve done. . These things are crispy and delicious and only 300 calories. If I’d slathered them in merely two tablespoons of olive oil before seasoning that would have turned my 300 calorie snack into a 500 calorie snack.

The food was absolutely delicious and service was on point. Our waiter was not only helpful in helping my friend and I choose dishes, but he was also patient, genuine, and extremely optimistic. Truly some of the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. Can we also take a moment to appreciate the fact that Mioposto bakes their own bread? Although it may look plain on the outside, the outer layer was very crispy and the inside was fluffy and moist. Went super well with The Baker. The Morning Hash was a really well balanced dish so I recommend getting that if you're looking for something that'll fill you up but not make you feel like crap after you finish it. Mioposto is also located in a beautiful cozy neighborhood in Mount Baker.
