So I’ve been kind of struggling lately with the work at home mom balance. Between dance practices, school drop offs, too many trips to the doctor/urgent care, a teething baby, lots of travel for my husband this month, multiple computer breakdowns/resets/and returns, and just the general crazy day to day with three kids, I’ve had very little time to work on ANYTHING blogging or TpT related. And I’ve been pretty stressed and down on myself about it all. Then this lovely gift shows up from @teacherspayteachers and I actually broke down in tears because the timing couldn’t have been better. Almost 6 years ago when I was pregnant with our first daughter, I knew I’d be staying home and decided to start sharing some of my teaching resources and ideas through my blog and TpT. I thought it would be something to keep me busy and connected to teaching and maybe help a tiny bit with the financial burden leaving teaching would place on our growing family. Fast forward 5 1/2 years and 3 kids later and it’s grown into a full time career. Never in a million years did I think I would own my own business, yet here I am. I am so grateful for everything I’ve learned, the lifelong friendships I’ve made, and the ability to create and share with teachers/parents/and kids from around the world, all while raising my girls at home.
