If I do more, I worry less. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing. Transplanting, watering, feeding, walking, slinging, if I can keep busy enough I won’t slip into an anxious mess over all of the crazy going on in our life right now. Maybe if I add my own crazy it’ll just balance out yea? Today I decided last minute to drive three hours to look at a house we fell in love with through photos and we made an offer. I knew if I sat still I’d worry myself to death waiting for a response so Fletch and I walked and walked and ate and explored and ended up on the sound side of Wrightsville Beach for some sand wallowing. May 1, 2019. The day I learned to never ever ever ever EVER leave the house without a Fletcher carrier. My ma and I ventured to what I thought was a short little mulch covered botanical trail with biscuit in his stroller today. Fast forward to carrying child + stroller over massive boulders and never ending tree roots then ditching the wheels trail side for a shoulder ride. #worthit. We saw crawfish and sassafras and the prettiest little mini waterfalls that I know we’ll be back to see again soon! Anyone else ever facepalmed hard when you realized you left your sling/carrier at home? Never. Ever. Again.
