The past few days have been so much fun, filled with so many moments that I want to hold onto forever. Some of my favorite memories growing up are from when my parents would take my brothers and I to the Jersey Shore. Being here has been so nostalgic for me. It makes me so grateful to my parents for doing all that they did for us to take those family vacations. Not that I wasn’t grateful before, but now as a Mother myself, getting to watch our kids experience the same thing-I just appreciate it so much more now. It gave me a foundation of what I want for our kids and our family. I have so much gratitude for this man and all he does for his family. I was so bummed it was raining today. We were supposed to go to the water park but couldn’t because of the weather. Dan said-“don’t worry, we’ll make the best of the rain and still have fun”-and he was right-today was one for the books-and it was such a simple day. Nothing crazy, nothing extravagant - just us, together. We made lemonade out of lemons. He makes me want to be better, and do better-every single day. I love you, I love us, and I love this life we’ve built.
