Battle of Đắk Tô 1967

Overrun,Poland-1944-This Moc depicts the fierce fighting in Poland in the summer of 1944. In this section of the battlefield members of the 3rd SS “Totenkopf”with a Stug lll have overrun a small Russian field position. A small group of tank commanders and a Sturmbannführer talk about what they will do next.Two Russian troops are captured and are being brought back the position.—The Stug lll is of my design. |Bell UH-1 Iroquois “Huey”| It was the first member of the Huey family and met the United States Army's 1952 requirement for a medical evacuation. The Huey helicopter had it’s first flight in 1956. This utility military helicopter is powered by a single turboshaft engine. The UH-1 was the first turbine-powered helicopter produced for the United States military, more than 16,000 have been built since 1960. The Iroquois was originally known as the HU-1. The UH-1 first serviced in combat operations during the Vietnam War. There was around 12,000 of these helicopters deployed during the war. Then in 1952, the U.S. Army created a version of the helicopter to serve as medical evacuation or (MEDEVAC). The U.S. Army thought that the current helicopters were too large and underpowered to maintain easily. Later in November 1953, some new and revised military requirements were submitted to the Department of the Army. This resulted in twenty companies submitting designs in their bid for the contract, including the Bell Helicopter with the Model 204 and Kaman Aircraft with a turbine-powered version of the H-43.

Search and Destroy: Vietnam,1970-This Moc depicts US Marines patrolling through ancient ruins. After investigating two of the structures a local farmer appears with his water buffalo. But inside the hut local Vietcong have crawled out of their tunnel that was hidden under the floorboards. One unfortunate Marine has found himself face to face with a Vietcong member armed with a RPK. The M113 and the OH-6 Little Bird are of my design. ~| Final Defenders of the Third Reich | April 1945 |~ ~ ~ ~ Thought this was a cool photo with some decent figs, kinda filler, but also kinda not. I’ve gotten some good progress done on the expansion of the Handschar moc, and will be continuing it over March break, although I am waiting on some parts to arrive.
