I’d been holding off going to @avery_sf because we’d already been to it’s pop-up predecessor, RTB, a couple of years ago. But I couldn’t resist when I saw they were hosting a wagyu pop-up with upcoming restaurant Gozu. Chefs Rodney Wages and Chef Marc Zimmerman each created an item for every course. It was a really satisfying meal and the plating was beautiful – I especially enjoyed the little bone "spoons". And we got to make up for not having a wagyu sandwich in Japan!
