i’ve been obsessed with cakes lately and i can’t get enough! What is your current food obsession? - Patisserie Tomoko was a delightful surprise during my food adventure in NYC. This was one of the only places I didn’t plan on stopping by or even did any research on but rather i just kind of stumbled upon it as we were vintage shopping in Williamsburg. It was quiet when we came in and everyone was busy prepping and making cakes. We got to sit at the bar and saw the pastry chefs make cakes right in front of us. It was a very cool experience and relaxing at the same time. We got a set with two courses. We chose the ricotta cheese cake (first picture) and a set of delicious cookies (no picture avail bc we got it to go). We also ordered the mille crepe cake bc we’ve been obsessed since the stop at Lady M. Their cakes were absolutely delicious. Sweet but not too sweet. Filled with layers of cream but not too thick.
