Another Excellent review from @a1supplementscom !!! Claims from this user to be organic Viagra and stronger than DMAA 1,3. Russian Bear Nitro has no stimulants, caffeine, dyes or chemicals. Yet this blend of 20 ingredients will outperform them all, and boosts your libido. On cycle? We don’t recommend it but users who are, we are sure that Russian Bear Nitro will help you with your libido loss as well as recovery from the gym!
I was confronted by "award winning blogger" when i made a comment that moisturizer is not completely useless, pointing out that they are not all created equal ( they didn't pay attention to this last bit).
Technically there is no such thing as a moisturizer especially in cream form. It was actually a term invented in the early 1960s by a New York advertising firm to sell beauty creams.
What actually happens is that humectants like ordinary glycerin, plump up the dead skin cells build up, making skin feels supple( skin hydration is a whole new post).
Old time humectants have the habit to draw all the water to themselves, not deeper into the upper epidermis!
⚠️Not all moisturisers are created equal!
Today we have transdermal creams that can indeed be stored in the many voids in our skin for hours and deliver the goodies that keep the living skin cells alive.
We also have DMS creams, fractionated oils, formulations containing glycosaminoglycans, EFA's, sodium PCA etc!
Skin care today is way more advanced and "moisturisers" have many different purposes! They very often are used for a better delivery system for actives, and some of those active ingredients are better preserved and delivered in a cream form! Water based serums don't have complete absorption in the skin, oils/oil based sit on the surface ( unless they are fractionated). This is where cream format comes as better option!
No, your over- the- counter moisturizer will not hydrate your skin! The skin have a very good way to keep itself hydrated! And as the years pass, this process slows down, but we are given great tools to help it with this!
Moisturisers now are formulated towards being a treatment rather than moisturising!
It is silly and irresponsible to put them all under one name!
At the end of the day, even a basic cream will come useful by keeping your serums from evaporating from the skin, before they get to where they are supposed to!
I could write a book about this topic but it's time to put some hudrating mask on!
