The 12 Apostles were crafted by nature over the last 10 to 20 million years by the gradual erosion of the limestone. We were there on a otherwise calm day and still witnessed the power of the Southern winds once we got close to the shore.. When you get to the view point, do hold on to your hat or any thing that might get blown away! Fun fact: The place was known as Sow and Piglets until the 50's when the name was changed to attract tourists. At the time there were 9 stacks, but one of them collapsed in 2005.
