After 6 weeks in hospital the girls were finally discharged yesterday!! And after a few years of fertility struggles, I finally got to do the classic Instagram ‘Dad holding the car seat’ picture. @bigjldn and I have waited so long to do this picture and our family is finally complete ❤️ Leni still has her feeding tube as a precaution, but she’s finally starting to complete her bottles ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Its so amazing to have them home. I had planned to do posts about my experience rooming in at hospital & my first night home with the girls ... but the fatigue from 2 nights without the help of the nurses (god I really miss them!! ) has slowly crept up on me I don’t seem to have time to do much right now! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yesterday was bittersweet, as sadly my beautiful Nan who suffered with dementia passed away. I planned to take the twins to visit her today & desperately wanted to see her, but I’ve been so torn spending my days at hospital, I sadly never got to say goodbye.
