Dahling, today is all about that INTENTIONAL SELF-CARE! ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While this kween practices self-care often, it is all too easy too literally lose yourself in the hecticness that is ADULTING! April is a wild month in higher education, and this kween has been werking 6-day werk weeks, dahling. Now, don’t get a gurl wrong, I love the werk I do and the students + colleagues I get to build with each day. But being the gregarious extrovert that I am, I must constantly remind myself to take time for me ... to re-energize myself in ways that only require me, myself and I. She’s a nurturer, hunty, and we often forget to put that same love, care and energy that we give to others back into ourselves ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And so today I am taking the day off from werk, gonna spend time with some of my amazing frands and gonna do some fun things just for me ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS. So guys I figured out how to print plants using a 3D printer and this is what I came up with ‍ . . Only kidding hah... but isnt this leaf just completely unreal? The Cercestis Mirabilis is also known as the “African embossed aroid” and you can definitely see why - the leaves appear to be embossed, having heaps of depth with the undulations. Then the white pattern is ridiculous. . . God’s creation never ceases to amaze me -it’s one of the main reasons I love keeping all of my plants. I feel like through keeping them I get a whole new appreciation of his power, but also his detail and how everything is made so perfectly and according to the way that he wanted it ⭐️ . .
