„be kind to every kind“ ❤️// finally finished this old sketch from 2 years ago i made it when i was living and working in hobart - tasmania. i worked as a “sitter” in the hospital and had looots of time to draw. especially during nightshift. i love the little piggy ❤️ i still have hundreds (ok... a little bit less) of unfinished vegan-themed sketches. i didn‘t finish them back then, because i thought posting stuff like this is... pushing, offensive or annoying. but i am not one of those people who tells other people to „go vegan“ or says that people who still eat meat are stupid. thats not me and never has been. in my opinion: „every meal counts“. i can‘t eat meat. i just can‘t. but i totally understand why other people do it. we grew up like this. and i won‘t turn people into vegetarians/vegans by calling them names or posting annoying memes on my insta story. i try to show them the other side in a friendly way. show them alternatives. and also telling them „every meal counts. try to use less animal products. but if you really wanna eat your cheese once a week. do it. because otherwise you feel guilty why you aren‘t strong enough. and then you will quit. because you think you failed and there is no sense in even trying. and thats wrong! try it! always! and yes. sometimes „being weak“ is part of trying.“ and maybe one day... the will switch. maybe one day, they will see they don‘t need animal products at all ❤️ ||| Ihr Lieben. Hab endlich diese alte Zeichenidee ausgearbeitet und bin ganz verliebt in das kleine Schweinchen. Manchmal vermiss ich die Zeit als Sitter im Krankenhaus. Hab damals in Hobart - Tasmanien gelebt und hab vorallem in der Nachtschicht sehr viel Zeit zum Zeichnen gehabt. Hab da auch noch ganz viele Vegan-Thematisierte Skizzen gemacht, aber nie ausgearbeitet. Ich dachte immer so ein Thema wäre nervig. Zu fordernd. Ich war und bin nie einer der Personen gewesen die Leute auffordert „vegan zu werden“ oder sagt das Leute die Fleisch essen „zurückgeblieben, realitätsfremd oder dumm“ sind. Weil das Quatsch ist und ehrlich gesagt find ich die Veganer die diese Memes auf ihre Story posten einfach selbst super nervig. (weiter in comments)
