Flash Giveaway!
What book has haunted you or really stuck with you in a nightmarish-type way after reading it? For me, that book has been Dot Hutchison’s “The Butterfly Garden”. It creeped the bajeebies out of me so much so, that I found myself thinking about way too much at bedtime and then cue the nightmares. It was a majorly intense book with one of the most unique storylines I personally have ever read.
Then comes the wildly, bookstagram popular “Verity” by Colleen Hoover (or “CoHo” as we bookish folk refer to her ). I believe “Verity” is only available to order online or download as a digital copy and not sold in stores. This was kind of an experiment in writing for CoHo and Wow! Did she knock it out of the park! Intense is an understatement. Suspenseful, nail biting, unexpected, and impossible to put down (seriously, just call in sick that day and curl up with it for the longhaul...) The ending is one that you will dissect over and over for weeks in your scrambled brain. You will also want every single one of your friends to read “Verity” so you can discuss it in detail and marvel at the cray-cray in unison. (And word of caution, neither of these books are for the weak at heart, easily offended or prudish. Just sayin’...) I am giving away both copies along with a Rae Dunn notepad. This will be an international giveaway. Ends on Monday, June 10th; winner announced 6/11. To enter:

BOOK REVIEW: 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for VERITY! It’s a MUST read‼️
.
I’M SHOOK! This book is undoubtedly worth the hype! Holy freaking crap! I couldn’t sleep after I finished this. It was that good/twisted!
.
Synopsis: Verity Crawford, an author, is unable to finish her contract due to an injury and, therefore, is in need of a co-author. Her husband, Jeremy, comes across Lowen Ashleigh as an option. Lowen, who’s beyond broke, needs the money and accepts. She’s invited to stay at the Crawford resistance to sift through years of notes. While doing so, she uncovers EXTREMELY unsettling information and the tides turns in the house. Is she co-authoring books for a villainous sociopath?!
.
You guys, what unfolds FREAKED ME OUT! This is one of the most gripping novels I’ve read. It’s deceptive, malicious, calculated, and HORRIFYING! It stirred up so many emotions inside of me because I went from being livid to hopeful to a nervous wreck.
.
I don’t want to give ANYTHING away. Soooo... The characters are strong. The story isn’t drawn out. The plot is clever. The only reason I withdrew a half-star had to do with the incorporation of an aliment Lowen had. But other than that, DAMN IT WAS GOOD!
.
Those of you who’ve read this, am I right or am I right?!
