~ Full Moon Reflections ~ . . I have been meaning to share this beautiful photo of @scath_ealain from the icy North. I love how her Ash Gray linen serk compliments the beautiful arctic surrounding her, contrasting with her Raven Black linen hangerock with beastie knotwork trim. Both of these pieces are available in my shop, link in bio. . . I’m so grateful to receive so many beautiful customer photos, thank you all for sharing these special moments wearing my pieces! As an online maker it can be hard sometimes to stay connected to customers, sometimes you just send your pieces out and never hear back. So when I get to actually see my work on someone, hear their joy in wearing my pieces, and even become friends with them (like this amazing lady) it is such a beautiful experience all around! . . I don’t enjoy blindly making things mass produced and shipping them off for profit. I enjoy the mentality of slow art, connection, passion and intention infused art. Part of what I strive to offer as a maker, is the entire experience of connecting with me, which is why I share so much about myself publicly. The art I am bringing to the world is rooted in deep earth and ancestral connection, it is a meditative and spiritual process for me to craft what I do, bridging the gap between past to present, so a desire to connect with who I have the privilege to make for, is everything. . . This is why I continue the hard labored task of making everything specifically customized to each individual, often requiring long back and forth conversations which usually results in sharing pieces of ourselves in the process. And as I craft, I can then marinate on each individual as I bring their pieces to life. When folks come to me saying they can never find clothes that fit them right, and I get to make them a piece specific to their size, hearing that I was able to help them to feel good about themselves and in their bodies is the most rewarding part I think. . . Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey, and thank you for being a very big part of mine!
