Have to say the wines of Giboulot's are really growing on me. I have yet to try the whole range but I have been impressed by the fews that I've had, especially those from the "lower quality" appellation.
Sous Le Mont is located in the village if Villers la Faye. The vines are roughly 30 years old and are situated at 300-400m. They have been organically farmed since 1987. Fermented with indigenous yeast and raised in old oak.
Tasted in Zalto Burgundy, the '17 initially opened up with charming bright red fruits aromas, with 2-3 hours of airing though, the later glasses showed a very sensual earthy and floral bouquet. Still young with slightly gripping tannins at the beginning but it is sleek, lithe and fresh with racy acidity and bitter spices that just invites me back in for another dose. A perfect wine that shows what the Haute-Côtes is capable of under great producer. Really enjoyed this and will definitely decant this if I do revisit in the near future.

I'm really glad that Australia has moved on from the alcoholic, oaky and jammy "Shiraz" to fresh and vibrant wine that are such a delight to indulge. I may drink a lot of wines from the Old World, but as far as natural/low intervention wines goes, Australia is easily my top go-to as it is more stable in my home market given the shorter transfer distance.

#PatrickSullivan #JumpinJuice Yellow Yellow 2018 - racy and fleshy skin fermented Sauvignon Blanc.
#GentleFolk Rainbow Juice 2018 - ethereal and light with crunchy red fruits, this is a blend of all vineyards of the estate.
#OchotaBarrels Texture Like Sun 2018 - my 2nd dance with this wine and it's exactly how I remembered it, crunchy red fruits, spices and fleshy.
All three were a joy to drink, each gulp forces a grin on my face and as expected, they disappeared very quickly, superb stuff @jumpingjuicewine @gentlefolkwine @ochotabarrels
3 hours discussion with 2 legends is always #priceless obviously.
#PierreOvernoy and #EmmanuelHouillon are 2 amazing people who have as much knowledge as wisdom. Listening to their vision of viticulture today is a beautiful life experience. Their quest for purity and the search for the right expression of terroir launched a few years ago pushes the boundaries even further.
All the wines we tasted were amazing especially the ploussard 18 and this incredible new cuvée blend of ploussard and trousseau. That will be the first time they will produce this blend that Pierre has always dreamed of. New color wax is coming my friend!

Great moment in Pupillin with #PhilippeBornard. We tasted all the 2018 in the cellar and I was really impressed by the 3 ploussard which showed so different profiles but share the same finesse and terroir driven structure. I was also very excited by the 3 savagnin aged in 3 different amphoras. Stunning experience. Finally we had a perfect vin de paille 2010 (aka Vin de Pagaille because of aoc issues...) to end another beautiful day in Jura.

To be honest, Pinot blanc is not a dream grape variety. Often avarage, sometimes just disappointing. But this one is different. Delicious aromatic, nice balance and absolute drinkability. Another bank shot for the #brandbros
