This one has been on the list for a while. I've made a few martini variations but none featuring this versions booster ingredient vodka. It's been a long time since I've used vodka & although it is not the main base ingredient it was nice to get a bottle of it off the shelf. I have a vodka based drink for fans of it coming up soon . Now I almost forgot where I've seen this drink & just as I was about to get my mixing glass ready for a stir it said much to my surprise on the recipe to be shaken not stirred. The penny dropped then I remembered it's one of James Bonds drink of choice & from the oringal novel of Casino Royal. I was glad to have finally got around to making this drink & this is a dry & boozy tasting & one which you really will want to choose a gin in which you want to savour the flavours of. I opted to try an unopened bottle of blue coat American dry as I wanted to appreciate it.

60ml 2oz Gin (@bluecoatgin)
25ml 3/4oz Vodka (@Ciroc)
10ml 1/3oz Lillet blanc.

Add all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice then shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass & garnish with a lemon peel.

Popsicle time! To celebrate the 4th, my friends at @chopinvodka gave me their recipe for Red, White, & Blue Spiked Popsicles, and I'm excited to share it with you! With fresh berries, cream, and a splash of vodka, these festive popsicles are a refreshing treat for the adults at your BBQ. I had fun making them and styling this photo!

INGREDIENTS⠀
1 medium strawberry, chopped⠀
1 tablespoon blueberries⠀
2 tablespoons coconut water⠀
1/2 teaspoon Chopin vodka⠀
1 tablespoon grenadine⠀
1 tablespoon heavy cream⠀
⠀
INSTRUCTIONS⠀
1. Add the strawberries and blueberries to your popsicle mold. Pour in coconut water, vodka, grenadine, and heavy cream. (Ingredient quantities are for 1 popsicle--add in the order listed.)⠀

2. Gently swirl the mixture from the top of the mold to the bottom with a popsicle stick. Repeat the process in your remaining popsicle molds. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until frozen solid. Unmold and enjoy immediately.⠀

*Note: Over-stirring the ingredients will turn the popsicles pink. They're still delicious, but if you want more separation of colors, as pictured, just swish them around 3-4 times with your popsicle stick before freezing.
