Rien de sera épargné au jeune couple. . L'auteur réussi à nous entraîner par ses mots, le rythme soutenu, les sentiments et les interrogations des jeunes gens, c'est assurément le roman que l'on a envie de lire pendant les vacances. . J'ai été attirée par le titre du roman, ayant séjourné à Cape May en mai l'an passé. J'ai pu goûter au charme de ces maisons victoriennes et à l'ambiance particulière de cette station de villégiature estivale. Book 47. Because it's Monday and it feels like I've been writing my caption all morning for the whole post to just disappear.. let's start over. ⁣ ⁣ I read an excerpt of this book thanks to @bookishhq and I knew I just had to have it and read it. A bit late with my review but hot dang this book deserves all the ⁣ ⁣ It started out innocently enough, with a young man starting off his honeymoon in basically empty beach town (it's September). He looses his virginity to his wife, and starts out his sexual exploration with a bang (pun intended) plus lots and lots of drinks. They meet some old friends of his wife in this town, and they join their partying ways with more booze and more sex. ⁣ ⁣ Oh yes. There's a lot of that in this book. If you're not into whole hot and sizzling reads, skip it. If you want to through out a whole book, I highly recommend it. It went from kind of childish and naive look into a marriage to more adulterous territory real fast. ⁣ ⁣ It's not just party time in Cape May. This is kind of a private look into a young man's mind. He is exploring himself, and at the same time learning how to survive in a different kind of world, learning more about the married life, what it means to be a husband, learning how to live with and love another person. ⁣ ⁣ If I'm rambling I'm sorry. You need this quick read to get yourself blushing. It's very carnal, scandalous, and not the regular lovey dovey romance. But I found it refreshing. The only lack in this book was the end. I found it rushed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ From me.
