So happy to be on the cover of Holland and Barrett’s Healthy magazine re-launch!
This month’s issue focuses on mental wellbeing which is a topic I feel really strongly about as I think mental health should be something we prioritise.
It’s inevitable that we all struggle from time to time and it’s totally normal to have good and bad days.
If you’re really struggling then you should seek help but it you’re looking for some tips to improve your mental health then here is what I do to boost my mood and build resilience for when things get difficult.

. Get plenty of sleep
. Go for a walk. It’s proven that just 12 minutes of walking can elevate your mood for hours and getting sunlight releases serotonin
. Do something you enjoy everyday and recognise what you’re passionate about and ensure you do all you can to pursue it
. Find an exercise you enjoy and keep physically active as it releases endorphins
. Keep socialising, don’t shut yourself out from others and open up to people if you’re feeling low or anxious.
. Eat well to boost your health . Practice gratitude and list three things your grateful for every day
Lastly don’t feel bad for feeling bad! It’s totally normal to feel crap sometimes so look after yourself until you feel back to your usual self.
