So this happened yesterday... We are 100% DEBT-FREE!!!! I was so emotional yesterday after I got off the phone with Wells Fargo. This is such a dream come true that it's one of those "is this real" moments (Queen pop up in anyone else's head just now? ❤). 6 years ago this March we started our journey towards becoming debt-free. There were many people that told us "you can't survive without a credit card-what about emergencies." But we haven't had a single credit card since 2013 and we've THRIVED. There were also many amazing people that loved us, encouraged us, and prayed over us as we battled this journey. And I can't believe I get to say we WON! Actually that's not true. I knew that by God's grace and providance we could in fact achieve this goal and I knew that if we were willing to make the sacrifices necessary we could do this. So at 33 and 32 years old, my husband and I officially outright own our home of 8 years. We paid cash! We **finally** (after almost an entire year of saving) saved enough money to have our house painted!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The last time our home was painted was almost 40 years ago back when the original owners added the cedar detailing on the front of our home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now after many, many remodels and a few different owners she's getting a fresh coat!
