So today is the end of our SCBU chapter. We have officially been signed off which means we no longer get a weekly ‘check in’ visit from one of the nurses. . Colby is now weighing a healthy 5lb 12oz and had another lovely weight gain. I can now start trusting my boobs and not worrying after two lovely weight gains in a row . He now also now feels like a newborn baby opposed to a preemie (if that makes sense). He has really found his hands this weekend and has started grabbing . This coming Thursday is Colbys due date so we’re having our parents & siblings over for a little celebration toast We got a whole 7 extra weeks with our baby boy so we’re feeling blessed . I've decided it's time to look after my mental health. Not that I've purposely been neglecting it but I've pushed it towards the back of my mind hoping it'll go away on it's own I've suffered general anxiety for almost 15 years and health anxiety for around 5 years. I know what triggered both off, I know CBT methods to help and breathing exercises but I just don't do them. Instead I let myself spiral into a sadness and stress and expect everyone else to pick up the pieces. I am a Mum now and I have an example to make. It's ok to not be ok but it's also ok to ask for help. I'm making an appointment with my doctor today (once I've joined new ones, the joys!) and taking back control. So today I started my new job and it consisted of a full days training! I passed so I’m now a fully trained cargo operative at the airport! But both the twins and daddy armstrong have the sickness bug so no one had any sleep all night and I’ve had to leave them all poorly to go on my course The twins are in bed now so I’m hoping they wake up better and we all manage to get some sleep as I start work tomorrow on nights! Yesterday we went to @bicestervillage to do a spot of shopping and what better wheels could we have taken Hugo in, than his new @mybabiieofficial MB400 in sage & bronze! Can you see that little eyebrow raise and smirk on his face? #cheekylittlesausage, he looks adorable and he knows it! Being pushed around a shopping outlet waving “IYA” to everyone smiling his head off...I mean the feeling of a new set of wheels is amazing right? 10/10 for this Pushchair, so stylish yet so practical. I couldn’t quite believe how compact it is and honestly, the quickest pushchair we’ve ever had to collapse and erect again. First Shoes What was your little ones first shoes? Zac isn't a #clarkskids his first pair or proper shoes are a pair of @nike trainers from @sportsdirectuk ... much more our style I did try Clark's but I just couldn't find any I liked and they cost more than a branded pair of shoes! It's so cute watching Zac stomp around in them! His first pair of shoes are a size 5!
