We're thrilled to be supporting some fantastic new companies this year, with Underground Lights Community Theatre, Richard & Rishard and Maokwo joining our talent development scheme for Spring 2019. Underground Lights is a community theatre company working with adults with experience of homelessness and/or mental ill health. Richard & Rishard is an actor/writer duo first brought together as part of the Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 bid. Maokwo is an artist and designer looking to forge exciting partnerships between BAME creatives in Coventry and Warwickshire. It was a great effort by the Warks Fire Rescue team and other partners, who worked as a team to compete in a static cycle race outside Shire Hall this afternoon. All raising money for a very worthy charity, Cyclists Fighting Cancer. As always teamwork was key to completing the challenge. Well done to all involved, it was a great event!
