Okay for my #transformationtuesday today I want to implore my fellow ladies (and my health conscious dudes) to stop defining your health by a number. The scale is only telling you the force of gravity in relation to your body mass. It does not account for muscle vs fat. It does not account for your intelligence, your health, your soul. It’s been said many times before, muscle is more dense than fat. It takes up less space for the same weight. When you start working out after being lazy (me) you will see that scale drop fast and it’s so encouraging. You start lifting weights and the scale stops moving. Panic!!! I’m still fat. NOOOOOO. Your body is building dense lean muscles from your fat. The weight is still there but it’s just getting smaller. Don’t let your scale mind fuck you. Don’t stop eating. Don’t stop working out thinking “this isn’t even working”. It is I swear. I promise. Time. All you need is time. It’s not fast. It’s not easy. It’s not pretty. It’s not even fun some days. But you keep going. Ik train weer met liefde.♥
Al moet ik mijzelf af en toe wel remmen.
Ik heb een paar weken terug in één week mijn duim pezen en banden gescheurd en een operatie gehad aan mijn baarmoeder. Beiden goed afgelopen en 2 dagen daarna weer gaan werken. Ik ben langzamerhand mijzelf steeds meer gaan uitdagen in de gym en al snel op de fiets gestapt om kilometers te maken. Doordat ik altijd sport genees ik ook sneller, zeiden de doktoren. MOoeuj.
Maar voor mij is dat al snel een teken->HOPPA! En meer!
Hou van jezelf en zorg goed voor jezelf. Rem maar houd jezelf wild.
