[Listen to your body] I’ve been sick for two days, and fever keeps coming back.
To me, it’s a sign I need to slow down and take care of myself better. That I’ve been pushing a little too hard and my immune system took a hit. So these two days, I spend most of my time on bed, drink hot lemon water and sleep. Finally I feel better today. Sometime friends will ask me is there any yoga pose can be helpful for injury from work/ work out to recover. My suggestion is alway go to see doctor and rest until it’s fully recovered. You should skip the gym/ intense yoga practice and give your body a chance to heal without placing more stress on it. And don’t feel guilty about choosing sleep over. Sometimes a little extra rest will help you get healthy and back to your normal practice routine sooner. Namaste
Feeling much more solid and free in my inversion practises after “not” practising for awhile and having spent more time in releasing tension in the shoulders, chest and abdominal with massage, cupping, deep stretching, agnisara, uddiyana bandha, and Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Abdominal Massage). .

☯️Too much of anything is never a good idea. Our yoga practises nowadays are so much geared towards the external and acrobatics and missed the deeper inner practises to support the “Yang”. Yin and Yang, active and passive, need to be in balance. .

As yoga practitioners, we need to ask ourselves why do we practise what we do. What are the purposes? How can we practise to support that purposes? Intention, intention, intention.
