Honestly there was no time in my life where I wanted to be fair for any reason but I still used this particular thing as a teenager because this is the only cream I know about as it was a part of almost every household,I saw many of my elders using it. But the day I started exploring brands,this came to me as a fairness promoting brand. Honestly this is what we need,hey we are Indians and we have so many skin shades which are beautiful in their own tone. I myself is a dusky person and never wanted to be fair. Skin colour never defines your personality,your thinking and heart does,skin colour is just an outerlayer God painted us to make us different from others. Everyone is beautiful in their own Skin. Just enhance what u have,that is why I promote skincare more just make it better not fair. When I started hating it more,the day it advertised that fair skin makes you a successful person, I mean common see the audience you are making content for,you cannot fool the new generation. You can achieve anything with your talent but when I see actors promoting such stupid things,i feel disheartened. Still there are people who are using it,I appreciate their choices as it might be a good product which suits them but I have a problem with fairness promotion as I myself is not in favour of and will never promote fair skin in any sense. Then why I bought this? Got it for this topic from a known shop,will return it after this. Physical appearance should never make you feel inferior or insecure in any sense,a handicapped person is sometimes more talented than a normal person,your personality depends on your skills and talent. God gave same heart to all, just make it beautiful and be the best version of you. At last I just wanted to say that there was a mindset in Indian society the beauty is equal to fairness that helps such brands to make such stupid stuff.
