Early Jan Late June
I am about 1.5-2% higher in bodyfat, but I think 4-5ish lbs more. Since I know I lose fat LAST in my abdomen, that makes me feel I’ve gotten a leeetle muscle? I am not as ‘slim’ in my middle, however, my obliques are almost more visible in my current photo. Idk. After not really caring about food for a few months, I’m continuing my cut and trying to break below 15%. This is for learning purposes, I just want to know how my body best cuts fat and the timeframes I can achieve certain milestones.

♀️ Fitness has NEVER been a new year’s resolution for me because dedicating time to work out has ALWAYS been just a normal part of life. Until this year! — We are finishing up our 6th month in 2019 & I took stock over this weekend of how things are moving across multiple of areas of my life. Overall, I’m feeling pretty proud of my personal & professional 2019 developments (❤️ @clintob and I moved in together and into a new home, Ernie came along, I relaunched my company, ✈️ continue to stay on-the-road building our @brennewhisky community and helped my Dad complete the rebuild of our family beach cottage that was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy ). Not too shabby! However, I’m a bit shocked when I realized just how little time I’ve set aside to focus on fitness and meditation — two things that for decades(!) have helped me carve out me-time, exhale, and ground down. ♀️♀️ So, I’m going to challenge myself to go from 0-1 to 3 focused work-outs per week. This can be as small as doing the 7 Min Workout app or a yoga class or gentle run (my faves). My weight gaining goal update : This past week I was able to front squat more than I ever have before! I could hardly believe it .
...I’m sure there’s plenty of ladies who feel me on wanting that dream booty ...
When I started working out consistently last Sept, I was squatting around 75lbs and set a goal to at least be able to hit my own weight (around 100lbs).
Currently I am squatting 115lbs - and front squatting 70lbs!
I feel so strong!!! .
It’s been my freakin dream to at least have 45lb plates on either side, and through sweat, hard work and the last 9 months - I have achieved it and SOON I will with my front squats too!
...for the first time in my life, I’m feelin’ that much closer to stepping on a stage next year

Was haltet ihr davon?
Ich finde es positiv, da man sich selbst oft unter Druck setzt und schlechte Laune bekommt wenn ein Post für den man sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben hat, nicht die Aufmerksamkeit bekommt die man sich gewünscht hat. Manchmal ertappe ich mich selbst dabei frustriert zu sein wenn ein Post wenige Likes bekommt. Ich glaube jeder kennt das bis zu einem Gewissen Grad. Das ist natürlich blöd, aber ich manchmal passiert das eben. Nobody’s perfect.

So richtig kann ich mir es zwar noch nicht vorstellen aber ich bin sehr gespannt wie das wird und wie sich vor allem auch Instagram entwickeln wird.

At Home Resistance Band Booty Workout!

Full Workout:
Lying Clam Shells (3x12): Using light resistance band. Took me a bit to get these right. Usually you’d keep your feet together but the engagement was way better for me when I didn’t. I blame those for the majority of my soreness.
1 1/4 Squat (3x8): Using heavy resistance band. One full squat straight into a pulse. Bunz on fire.
Single Leg Elevated Glute Bridge (3x10): Using my Medium Resistance Band. One of my favorites to target the glutes! Even without a band.
Reverse Lunge w/ Kickback (3x10): Using light resistance band. Love adding a kick back to make sure my glutes are working!
Duck Walks (3x20 steps): Using medium resistance band. Push through your heels to help make sure your glutes are working!
Standing Hip Abductors (3x12): Using light resistance band. These are awesome if you don’t have a seated hip abductor machine or ankle straps to do them on the cable tower!
