From 7-10pm on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd February, the Chinese Museum in Melbourne will be hosting Shanghai Swing, a night of 1930s Shanghai Jazz with pan-Asian canapes, a complimentary glass of wine and a viewing of the Museum. Each individual Umai Mi girl print are uniquely created, taking inspirations from the classic feminine women of 1930s Shanghai. Each one created with a different traditional pattern on the qípáo, (Chinese traditional dress) with a mixture of popular florals and geometric patterns influenced by contemporary art deco fashion.
