4 years ago today, @TaylorSwift kicked off her #1989WorldTour in Tokyo, Japan. Who remember my old username?! : @gettyentertainment

i never officially said goodbye to the reputation era and i just wanted to write a little paragraph about how much it meant to me. in 2017 i was going through the hardest time of my life. i was constantly sad and i felt so depressed everyday. but then on august 21 taylor posted a video of a snake on her instagram, which was the beginning of the reputation era. i will be forever grateful for that because without this era i would have still been so depressed all the time. and knowing that i would get to see my best friend on tour and hear so many new songs gave me something to take my mind off everything that was happening in my personal life. when i first listened to reputation i already knew that i would be listening to it everyday from then on. the album was exactly what i needed at the time and i loved so much. this era was also the era when i decided to start my fan account and honestly that is one of the best decisions i have ever made. i have meet some of the most amazing people on here and i’m so grateful for that. it was also the era that i got to see my best friend perform live for the first time after 7 years of constantly begging my parents and saving up money. i will never forget how i felt at the reputation stadium tour. it was the most fun i have ever had and i never felt so happy in my life. so goodbye reputation era, you will always be so important to me. and thank you @taylorswift for making all of that possible, i love you beyond words. -emma <3
