300hr Yoga Teacher Training @trimurtiyoga probably one of the most challenging things I've done but so rewarding. A month in Dharamshala North India studying from 7am - 7pm, 6 days a week (could have started at 6am but one needs her sleep!) Not gonna lie it nearly killed me being in class all day, im too airy fairy to be stuck in one place (Vata) yet I'm home now and missing it all. Love to everyone I met ❤ and guys remember... Today was a momentous day for me. My mentor, Marcia Miller, observed me teaching a yoga class and that was my final requirement to complete my advanced yoga teacher training! I now have my 500 hr YTT cert. This was a three and a half year process for me (a year longer than most people because a lot happened in the past three and a half years). I’ve come so far and I am so proud and happy to have made it. When Marcia announced to my class that I have graduated, I literally almost cried. Thank you so much for everything along the way Marcia! With each inhale I lift my heart a little more closer to the sun, with each exhale I root my feet more deeply into the Earth . Oh my, I can’t believe I leave for India in less than 4 weeks! It’s all happening so quickly and I feel like I’ve still got a million things to do/organize before then. But the other day as I was sitting outside listening to the birds and watching the wind move through the trees, I began watching the most beautiful tiny little hummingbird sip nectar from a flower next to me. It’s moments like these which serve as beautiful and gentle reminders to breathe deeply, go slowly, nourish yourself, be curious, do the work, enjoy the ride, stay present and embrace each moment as a guided meditation with the universe . .
