Even though I already have a SC-55 for vintage gaming I couldn't resist this MT-120 when it came up for sale. (I confess to being a bit of a vintage Roland addict! I do have other uses for it too though). At first I was really disappointed... it sounded terrible with General MIDI games, even after a factory reset! Then I discovered the Rx CH Conv option. This is set to On as the factory default, but turning it off fixed the problem. Now it sounds just like the SC-55. Just a tip for anyone who wants to use one with GM games!
