I am really annoyed with life at the moment. I am tired of all the tests and contacts with doctors... Super proud of this kid and how well he’s doing on his modified keto diet. Week 3 and ketones are according to his dip strips. Seizures are notably shorter in length and I’d estimate we are seeing at least a 50% reduction already! He has had some days where making the right food choices are harder than others, but this has been 100% his decision (with our support of course), and when we ask him what he’d rather do (meds or diet change), he chooses diet change every time. Sidenote: if my 6 year old can conquer an entirely new diet in less than a month, then whats my excuse, right?! Never been a smoker, never knew much about “weed”. This year the meaning of #420 has completely changed for me. Unfortunately the stigma about it has not.
