Favourite fantasy series? • A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This book was the most perfect ending to what is now my all time favourite trilogy. It was Heartbreaking. Suspenseful. Fulfilling. Everything you want in a final book and more. It was jam packed with action and complex backstories of all the characters and the way Schwab created this world is mind boggling. It had me audibly gasping and holding my breath as I was turning the pages as I was so invested and felt so connected to the characters. I understood their motivations and their feelings and became fully invested in every moment of this book. I could talk for hours about how much I adored this book but seriously PLEASE PICK IT UP! • This photo has been sitting in my camera roll waiting to be posted for at least a week and a half now because I took so damn long to finish this book. Who else severely misses Rhy? And who else keeps seeing Victoria post and talk about meetings at Sony headquarters, hoping that A Darker Shade of Magic gets adapted? I remember Victoria talking about writing a pilot for the series a couple of years ago, I remember the announcement that the film rights sold to a studio and I was sooo excited. But so many film rights are bought every year and the actual film or series is never developed, so I try to keep my hopes in check. Now it looks like things are moving forward again for ADSOM, so my fingers are crossed.
