Big, beautiful Garfield is about 3 1/2 years old. He had to live in an alley after his family moved away and left him behind. He was being fed by neighbors until a kind lady and her mom brought him inside. The pictures of him outside were taken to show him in a natural setting. He never goes outdoors anymore, except to pose for pictures. He's in his element resting on the bed as the other picture shows. This 16 pound boy is as mellow as he is handsome. He really is a gentle giant who especially loves children, is chummy with adult people too. He might have had run-ins when he was living on the street as he does not get along with cats or dogs. He would need to be the only four-legged pet in his future forever home. He is a story-teller and you can have a conversation with him. As long as you keep asking him questions, he will answer you vocally. He sleeps tight against his person. He has the same strut, from the back, as Garfield the cartoon character.
