My very first bungee jump (better with sound). Please read the story behind it. If you had read my previous post, I had basically been cornered into a bungee jump for my 27th birthday by my mischievous Godbrother Jermain @uteflayoibay__ . So for my birthday this year, that's exactly what I got, sponsored by my wonderful Godfamily, the Chos. Accompanied by Jermain and Bernice @bernyby (who was ALL about that second-hand nervousness, btw...), we made our way to @ajhackettsentosa for my 47m, 17-storey jump. Their staff was polite, friendly, professional, and most importantly, encouraging. I'll be honest, I look unfazed in the video but I was scared shitless looking down. However, once I looked out at the horizon and the beautiful scenery around me, (as well as said a little prayer because, y'know, GOD), I was like, "What a gorgeous day... If i die after I see this I can die happy lah... Can. YES. Let's do this." Focusing on the horizon, I steeled myself and let gravity do its thing. The initial plummet itself was terrifying (note the screaming) and caused me to close my eyes a little. Soon enough, I had almost reached the ground, plunging into the pool water below. Lucky for me, there was plenty of recoil and I bounced all the way back up, giving me a chance to take in the view and scream YASSSS as I essentially fell again, bouncing up and down a few times before finally being lowered onto a platform, sopping wet. It was unexpected, fun, and exhilarating.
