I recently read that you should only share your best work in social media. Of course it makes sense to some extent, though I find it far more interesting to also show how you get to your best work, especially when having the opportunity to re-visit your subject. That means showing the different angles you tried, different cameras, different weather conditions. These are some attempts at photographing the two trees from three posts ago as I took more photos of them individually than together. The first two are not bad, and I actually like them more than the picture with both trees, but the third and fourth I didn't even bother to Lith print. What do you think about this? Still playing with cyanotypes...

Lock Rannoch. Lith print on old Unibrom paper. I took this one with one of the incarnations of the Bentley/ Time cameras. I think this cameras have great potential, specially when combined with any alternative printing process, as opposed to a plain black and white print. I got quite a few negatives that I really like before the camera fell apart, and it was so simple to use that the experience is a lot of fun and quite relaxing compared to using other cameras with actual controls on them. . . #lithprinting #lochrannoch #visitscotland #ivanbpalli
