⠀ TWIN TUESDAY⠀ Vorontsov Palace | Alupka, Crimea | c. 1828⠀ •⠀ The Vorontsov Palace (Ukrainian: Воронцовський палац; Russian: Воронцо́вский дворе́ц) or the Alupka Palace is a historic palace situated at the foot of the Crimean Mountains near the town of Alupka in Crimea. It is one of the oldest and largest palaces in Crimea, and one of the most popular tourist attractions on the southern coast⠀ •⠀ The palace was built between 1828 and 1848 for Russian Prince Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov for use as his personal summer residence at a cost of 9 million silver rubles⠀ •⠀ English architect Edward Blore who was later particularly well known there for completing the design of Buckingham Palace in London designed the palace in a hybrid of several architectural styles including elements of Scottish Baronial, Mughal architecture, and Gothic Revival architecture⠀ •⠀ Once completed, the complex was visited by many members of the Russian Empire's elite ruling class, a number of which were so taken with the palace and its seaboard site that they were moved to create their own summer retreats in the Crimea. Ещё одно интересное туристическое место - гора Ай-Петри. В прошлом посту я рассказала как на неё добраться. А сейчас немного о самом месте. На вершине Вас ждёт большое плато с всевозможными развлечениями. Здесь располагается заповедник с оборудованными беседками, тропами и привалами. Если вы не любитель спокойных прогулок, то можете прокатиться на джипах, скутерах, прыгнуть на тарзанке, или взобраться на пик горы.⛰ Любители животных могут прокатиться на верблюдах, лошадях. После, вас накормят национальными блюдами в местных кафе. Цены здесь кусаются. Ещё, не забудьте взять тёплую одежду, на горе прохладно. Мы добирались сюда на маршрутке потому, что канатная дорога славилась и образовалась дикая очередь. Я бы советовала совместить канатика с маршруткой, так как серпантин очень красивый. Вчера друзья, отправившись, далеко, далеко, в открытое море, в десяти милях, от берега, мы встретились с огромной стаей дельфинов Около восьмидесяти плавников и хвостов, кружило вокруг нашего катера⚓️ Дельфины приветствовали Нас, подходили очень близко, были заинтересованы нами, а мы не чуть, не меньшеими!! Ведь целую зиму, они не встречали никого, кроме рыбаков и торговых суден⛴, а тут мы!Стая состояла из двух видов: черноморских жителей, ,,Афалина’’ и азовских ,,белобочек’’!!! Это прелесть, друзья!))
