The Cure played the 'Oxford Road Show', a BBC music show filmed at BBC Manchester, on March 18th 1983.⠀ ⠀ Sandwiched between the 'Let's Go To Bed' and 'The Walk' releases the makeshift line-up had been asked to perform the previous single along with the B-side 'Just One Kiss'. Ever contrary, the band chose to ignore their new direction and instead look back to 'Pornography', which had only been released ten months previously.⠀ ⠀ Andy Anderson, who had helped out in The Glove's album sessions, joined on drums, and Derek Thompson (previously with avant-garde industrialists SPK) filled in on bass, with Lol moving to keyboards for the first time.⠀ ⠀ Robert: "It was a real pleasure.
